The Querry

From a balcony in Chicago, circa 2010What is life?

Who can tell in this day.

It is a time when its measure can only be observed by how much of it is lived, how much squandered, and how much…wasted.

A time when it is so easily thrown away, in the case of assisted suicides…

or taken, in the case of the drive by’s.

What is life?

Not much.

Not much, when people are so willing to end it, squander it…abort it.

Life ain’t worth a plug nickel.

Least not in and of itself.

But riddle me this…

As bad as it is right now, how much worse would it be without God? Without The Christ?

Oh sure, life in this dust bowl…it sure as hell ain’t worth much.

But I can guarantee you, without them, it is worth a whole helluva lot less – maybe, nuthin.
